Cutting-edge entrepreneurial business program for elementary students is the first of its kind in the nation.

Millionaire Blueprints Jr. joined forces with Children’s University -- a K-6 private gifted and talented school in Arlington, Texas -- to develop a cutting-edge entrepreneurial business program for elementary students that is the first of its kind in the nation. In October 2005, a pilot program featuring Millionaire Blueprints Jr.'s entrepreneurial business curriculum was introduced to the parent's, faculty and staff of Children's University by Tom Spinks, editor-in-chief of Millionaire Blueprints magazine. Parents and teachers were very enthusiastic about the program and the opportunity for their children to be a part of this new cutting-edge entrepreneurial program designed specifically for children.

The program is designed to teach students how to think like entrepreneurs through career-focused classes utilizing Millionaire Blueprints Jr.'s entrepreneurial business curriculum, a unique seminar series, one-on-one access to the country’s most successful businesspeople and real world business experiences.

Lynn Kenner, president of Children's University says, “I’ve always believed children should live the curriculum instead of just being taught the curriculum. We want our children — as well as children all over the country — to achieve the “American Dream” and we’re here to help make that happen,” says Lynn Kenner.

Children’s University has introduced a series
of business electives for children, including:

(2006-2007 CHILDREN'S UNIVERSITY BUSINESS ELECTIVES BROCHURE)

• CU Employment
• Animal Husbandry
• Science Olympiad
• CU Publishing Company
• The Apprenticeship
• Architectural Design for Playgrounds
• CU Casting Call
• Toys Inc.
• The Tree House Project
• CU Realty Management

Meanwhile, Millionaire Blueprints Jr. is leading a seminar series that brings the most successful business leaders in the country to Children’s University. Each leader participates in a Q&A session, followed by breakout sessions throughout the day where children learn more details on the leader’s field.

The seminar series was launched on January 30, 2006, with an interview featuring special guest Amanda Dunbar, a world-renowned painter who was named one of Oprah’s Millennium Dreamers.
